This really did make a nice addition to the camera. Pictures that I took of the Grand Canyon came out great. The problem is with the connector. It is plastic and the side piece that you hold on to tighten on and off the camera broke off during the week of vacation. Now I have to really work to attach to the camera. Sad that Sony could not do a better job of making this product. This is the same thing I will write for the wide angle and the connector. If you buy be careful and also know that it will add weight to you small camera. You will need a camera bag to carry everything. I would buy it again because I really did like the pictures of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

I purchased a DCS-W300 camera and the VAD-WD adaptor on the same purchase order. But the adaptor did not fit the camera and has been returned. I now understand that the correct adaptor is the VAD-WF which is on order. I have not been able to evaluate the lens because I do not have the correct adaptor.
