point and shoot and dont have time to worry about
lookign at the LCD. It doesnt zoom but it works great for
the wide angle lens

This is essentially a $40.00 item priced at $140.00. It is unfortunate that the mount is configured for a specific, i.e Sony NEX, applicaton. They have you over a barrel if you want an optical viewfinder for your NEX. I would have purchased if it had been $99.00, but paying over $100.00?........it would have been a sin.

I got it and put it on, tried to focus and...to my amazement nothing happened!!!. there were no instructions, no advice no written anything so had to google to find out that it really does nothing. it is NOT electronic. It does NOT show shutter speed and F stop readings, it is only meant to be used with the 16mm pancake lens that come with the camera, to help with strong daylight that blinds the LCD screen...I shoot in daylight all the time with no problems.. and it has no autofocus...essentially, it is glass and plastic and looks "cool"... alot of money to pay for that!!!
