This review is from: Sony VCL-DH0737 37mm Wide Conversion Lens (Electronics) I purchased this to allow a larger field of recording, specifically for marching band performances. It improved the field of recording (looking at the bottom of the frame)... from the press box, it went from ~40 yard line - 40 yard line to ~30 yard line - 30 yard line. Video quality is still great. I'm still considering getting a 0.5 for even wider field, but this is much improved over what I was getting. But the adaptor did not fit the camera and has been returned. I now understand that the correct adaptor is the VAD-WF which is on order. I have not been able to evaluate the lens because I do not have the correct adaptor.
